Discovering Sarjapur: A Day in Bengaluru’s Vibrant South-East

When you first hear "Sarjapur," you might be thinking of the growing IT corridors of Bengaluru, with expansive technology parks and glass-fronted buildings. But spend a day roaming the roads of Sarjapur and you'll see this area is so much more than that; it's a curious blend of old village feel, cafe culture, green pockets, and youthful hangouts.

The Road that sets the tone

Play Arena, one of the most frequented sports and entertainment facilities in the city, has go-karting, paintball, laser tag, and skating. If the outdoor and extreme activity is more your thing, check out Area 83 for obstacle courses, zip-lining, and archery. Area 83 is a well-loved venue for families and groups.

Golden Hour by the Water

As the evening draws, the lakes provide a different energy, all a-glow in the late light. Halanayakanahalli Lake will find you in a clam orange light, the depth reflecting the sky. Fishermen work their nets while children play. Nature calmly unfolds, and time lingers.
